Ping Karsten carry. Royal blue, single strap, four dividers, working stand.

Karsten-marked carry stand from the era when the patch was the branding. Built on PING’s own stand patent — filed July 1988, granted May 1989, in the names of Solheim and Schmidt. The legs deploy under the bag’s own weight and fold on the lift.

Karsten Solheim started PING in a Redwood City garage in 1959, moved to Phoenix in 1961, and incorporated Karsten Manufacturing in 1967.

Working stand. Great condition, with a slight dark spot on one side.
